Crispy Mustard Mash

Rich and tangy with a mustard kick and a crispy crumb, the perfect side to a Sunday dinner or just on its own with Gravy and vegetables.
Prep time: 40 minutes


  • 1kg Peeled Potatoes
  • 50G Butter
  • 100ml Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp Chives
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 50g Grated Cheese
  • 100g Breadcrumbs


  • Boil the potatoes for 20 – 25 minutes or until they slide off an inserted knife.
  • Drain the potatoes and mash to remove lumps, add salt, pepper, mustard and chives and mix through.
  • Mix in the butter and milk until potatoes are creamy and smooth.
  • Move to a suitable roasting dish and sprinkle on the cheese and breadcrumbs and bake at 180 for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and the potatoes are crispy.
