Cheesy potato bake
Rich and tangy with a mustard kick and a crispy crumb, the perfect side to a Sunday dinner or just on its own with Gravy and vegetables.
Prep time: 40 minutes
- 1kg Peeled Potatoes
- 50G Butter
- 100ml Milk
- 2 Tbsp Mustard
- 2 Tbsp Chives
- Salt & Pepper
- 50g Grated Cheese
- 100g Breadcrumbs
- Boil the potatoes for 20 – 25 minutes or until they slide off an inserted knife.
- Drain the potatoes and mash to remove lumps, add salt, pepper, mustard and chives and mix through.
- Mix in the butter and milk until potatoes are creamy and smooth.
- Move to a suitable roasting dish and sprinkle on the cheese and breadcrumbs and bake at 180 for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and the potatoes are crispy.
