Spicy Patties

Loaded with vegetables and chickpeas, these spicy patties are baked and suitable for vegetarians, great as a snack and ideal for sharing.
Prep time: 45 minutes


  • 2 Tins Chickpeas
  • 2 Diced Onions
  • 1 Tin Sweetcorn
  • 2 Diced Red Peppers
  • 2 Diced Carrots
  • 1 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Oregano
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • 50g Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Hot


  • Drain and mash chickpeas as much as possible (use a food processor if easier).
  • Fry the onion, pepper and diced carrot in 2 tbsp oil in spices and extra hot for 3-5 minutes.
  • Mix the chickpea mixture and vegetable mixture together with an egg and flour, and mould into patty shapes, bake in an oven at 180 for 30 minutes, flipping half way through.
